The company is currently owned by COFCO, which is China\u2019s largest state-owned food processor and manufacturer. COFCO acquired Nidera Seeds in February this year.<\/p>\n<p>Nidera has a strong presence in the South American seed market, operating in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was announced on 6 November. The transaction\u2019s completion is subject to clearance by the relevant competition authorities.
