The date of August 23, 2025, marks a turning point in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Federal Law No. 13,709\/2018 \u2013 \u201cLGPD\u201d) regarding the international transfer of personal data.<\/p>\n

– Assessing whether there are other valid mechanisms or legal bases which may be applied.<\/p>\n

– Training legal and compliance teams on the new requirements.<\/p>\n

– Raising awareness on business areas which handle personal data (marketing, HR, IT).<\/p>\n

– Establishing an internal timeline for implementation.<\/p>\n
