Matheus Souza is an associate at Campos Mello Advogados, based in the Rio de Janeiro office. His practice focuses on Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation, advising clients in the real estate, infrastructure, construction and transport, life sciences and healthcare, as well as financial services sectors. He is involved in all stages of dispute resolution, including litigation proceedings and assisting in negotiations for the consensual resolution of disputes. 

He has experience handling real estate matters, including the review and management of contracts such as leases, subleases, assignments and purchase and sale agreements, in the context of a project for a major retail company. He has also worked on matters involving the construction sector, including specific contractual arrangements.

Currently, he is part of the team advising one of the largest financial institutions in Brazil. He began his career as an intern at the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office and at the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
