With over 20 years of experience in the Natural Resources and Energy sectors, Roger focuses on corporate, contractual, administrative, and regulatory law. He regularly advises companies operating in the Oil, Natural Gas, Biofuels, Energy, Mining, and Infrastructure industries.

 

His practice includes structuring projects in these sectors, with an emphasis on foreign investment, M&A transactions, project financing, and joint ventures. Roger has extensive experience in contractual, administrative, and regulatory matters, including concession, production sharing, and onerous assignment regimes, mining rights assignments, and energy auctions. He also represents clients in bidding processes and administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities such as ANP, ANM, and ANEEL.

 

In the Oil and Natural Gas sector, Roger has in-depth experience and knowledge of issues under the jurisdiction of Pré-Sal Petróleo S.A. (PPSA), the managing entity of the production sharing regime, including the negotiation and implementation of contracts related to exploration and production activities.
