After being an associate for nearly seven years with the firm, Adriana Pagés was promoted to partner based on her performance and international experience in the areas of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Campos Mello Advogados in cooperation with DLA Piper announces that Adriana Pagés has been promoted to partner in field of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions. Throughout her nearly seven years at the São Paulo office, Adriana has been recognized for her engagement, excellent performance – continuously overachieving her goals. Adriana has also developed strong relationships both in Brazil and abroad, and her international experience includes collaborating with colleagues in DLA’s offices in different countries – including Spain.
Adriana received her Bachelor of Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and completed postgraduate courses at the Getulio Vargas Foundation in Brazil. Adriana also studied at various international universities in Germany (Freie Universität Berlin, Studies of European Civilization), France (Université Jean Moulin – Lyon III, LLM in International and European Business Law), and the Netherlands (The Hague Academy of International Law, course in Private International Law), and worked as a visiting professional at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg.
At Campos Mello Advogados, Adriana is part of the Diversity Committee and the Associates Committee, and actively participates in and events promoted by the firm, including the Latin America Leadership Summit, focused on Women’s Leadership.
Adriana Pagés is also a leader when it comes to pro bono work. She participated in the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) held by DLA Piper’s New Perimeter, a non-profit organization affiliated with the global office. At ZIALE, Adriana participated in an education program for more than 300 students. “It was a unique opportunity that allowed me to interact with people with different backgrounds and cultures, not to mention the students from Zambia. The DLA Piper group I was part of in this project had members from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Holland, Germany, Tanzania, Australia, and Brazil. Interacting with so many young and bright minds, with a clear desire to make a difference, reinforced the importance of education as a key pillar of society,” says our new partner.
